The City of Bemidji and Northern Paving will begin the 2023 Street Renewal Project on Thursday, May 11.
The majority of the project area of Mississippi Avenue from 5th to 12th Streets will remain passable to residents living inside the construction area, but the roads will be closed to through traffic.
Local traffic will be detoured onto adjacent streets.
Working hours for the project will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The project is scheduled to be complete in October, weather permitting.
