Convention of States Town Hall Saturday

The Minnesota Convention of States chapter will hold a town hall Saturday, Oct. 26 at 12 noon at the Bemidji Public Library.

The goal of the COS petition, according to a release,  is to ask state legislators nationwide to vote in favor of the resolution, as outlined in Article V of the Constitution, that calls for fiscal restraints, limits on the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, and term limits for members of Congress and federal judges, including the Supreme Court.

The meeting this Saturday will be hosted by Steve Davidson, a volunteer with the Convention of States project.

Minnesota Senators Justin Eichorn and Paul Utke, as well as Minnesota House Representatives John Persell, Sandy Layman and Matt Grossell have been invited to the event.

Wow, the time has come for this to move forward, runaway federal spending, career politicians getting filthy rich in office, suffocating federal overreach with respect to rules and regulations, enough is enough! Time to call for a Convention of States!
