COVID-19 updates for Monday, Nov. 22

The Minnesota Department of Health reported 4,718 new COVID-19 cases today and 37 new deaths.

Of the new cases reported, 44 were in Beltrami County, 24 were in Cass County, 10 were in Clearwater County and 12 were in Hubbard County.

One of today’s reported deaths was a Cass County resident in their early 60s.

MDH says there have been 875,917 reported cases of COVID-19 in the state since the pandemic began, with 9,630 cases of reinfection.

Nearly 831,000 patients no longer need isolation, leaving nearly 45,000 active cases of COVID-19 in the state.

Since the pandemic began, Beltrami County has had 7,873 cases and 92 deaths, Cass County has had 4,834 cases and 51 deaths, Clearwater County has had 1,522 cases and 20 deaths, and Hubbard County has had 3,404 cases and 48 deaths.

VACCINES

Sanford Health Park Rapids will hold a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for eligible patients aged five and older. The clinic will be this Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
