In the weekly update from Beltrami County Public Health, officials say there were 434 active cases of COVID-19 as of Nov. 4, with 519 new cases reported in the county over a 14-day period.
There were nine residents hospitalized for COVID-19.
The Minnesota Department of Health reported 4,253 new COVID-19 cases Monday.
Of those new cases, 53 were in Beltrami County, 15 were in Cass County, eight were in Clearwater County and 20 were in Hubbard County.
MDH also reported 34 new deaths Monday. One was a Beltrami County resident in their early 50s, and one was a Clearwater County resident in their early 60s.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 7,251 cases and 85 deaths in Beltrami County; 4,550 cases and 47 deaths in Cass County; 1,439 cases and 19 deaths in Clearwater County; and 3,162 cases and 46 deaths in Hubbard County.
