Beltrami County Public Health director Megan Heuer reports her department is monitoring 317 active cases of COVID-19 within the county.
Heuer says active cases were as low as 286 yesterday, but another 45 new positive tests were added yesterday.
Nineteen COVID patients are occupying beds within the county, with 12 of those being Beltrami County residents.
Of the 2,388 new COVID cases reported by the Minnesota Department of Health today, 29 were in Beltrami County, 20 were in Cass County, five were in Clearwater County and 10 were in Hubbard County.
MDH also reported 24 new COVID deaths, with 19 of them among people who lived in private residences.
The ages of COVID deaths reported Wednesday ranged from 30 to 94.
