Crash near Motley kills one

A Lakeville woman was killed in a crash near Motley Friday evening.

According to a release from the Minnesota State Patrol, a Ramsey man was northbound on Highway 64 when he struck a pedestrian in his lane.

The killed pedestrian was identified as 29-year-old Alexa Hokeness.

Sixty-nine-year-old Leland Baldwin of Ramsey was not injured.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Motley Fire assisted at the scene.
