An Itasca County man was indicted in the federal court yesterday for assault with a dangerous weapon on the White Earth Reservation.
According to the allegations, 34-year-old Kevin Doerr of Deer River assaulted two people with a vehicle, resulting in serious bodily injuries on April 7.
Previous reports from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office accuse Doerr of driving through people’s yards and running over two people as they tried to stop them.
Both victims were airlifted to the hospital in Fargo for medical treatment.
Doerr is facing two counts each of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault resulting in serious bodily injuries.
