DNR, Explore MN create new task force

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Explore Minnesota are working together to launch a new Outdoor Recreation Task Force.

According to a release, 20 task force members are being sought that would represent a diverse mix of outdoor interests, expertise and values. Those interested can find an application on the DNR’s website.

Recreation in Minnesota is a $15.3 billion industry, and the state’s tourism council and DNR are seeking to collaborate with public, private, tribal and nonprofit organizations to introduce more visitors to the outdoors.
