Drivers reminded to be cautious when traveling for Memorial Day

Drivers are reminded to slow down and watch for work zones this Memorial Day Weekend.

MnDOT’s traffic operations director Brian Kary anticipates Memorial Day travel statewide to be similar to pre-pandemic levels.

Drivers are reminded to check out 511mn.org and plan their routes before leaving home.

Drivers should expect changing road conditions, slower traffic, narrow lanes, lane shifts, detours and delays as they travel through work zones throughout the state.
