Support Within Reach, the area’s sexual violence resource and advocacy center, is welcoming a new executive director.
According to a release, Evett Ellis is from Casa Grande, Arizona, and her experience includes various roles with the Gila River Indian Community Tribal Social Services, such as Acting Administrator, Youth Services Coordinator and Case Manager.
Ellis and her two school-aged daughters moved to the Bemidji area for the job, and she says she is looking forward to becoming Minnesotan.
