Emergency Food and Shelter grants available

The United Way of Bemidji Area is currently accepting applications for emergency food and shelter funding.

According to a release, applications are due August 1.

The federal emergency food and shelter program has provided funding for agencies serving Beltrami County residents, with over $21,000 in grant dollars and almost $31,000 in CARES Act funding, totaling about $52,500 to award local agencies help local residents with emergency food and shelter needs.

Applications are on the United Way’s website under “Our Work” and selecting Emergency Food and Shelter Program.
