The 34th season of the Summer Recital Series presented by the Bemidji Area Church Musicians continues on Wednesday, June 16, 12:00 noon as a “virtual recital.” This recital will feature musicians from St. Mark’s Lutheran Church: Kate Riess, violin, John G. Kirk, trombone, Erin Riess, piano, Katrina Stewart and Erin Riess, flute, and John Konecne, saxophone. This recital and one more in the series will be presented by video on FaceBook and YouTube each Wednesday at noon. In-person recitals will resume on June 30. The remainder of the recitals beginning June 30 will be live-streamed for those who hesitate to go out in public gatherings.
The public is encouraged to access this third recital of the season by going to the BACM Facebook page: BACMusicians or YouTube channel: BemidjiACM. Donations are invited and both locations will have a way to contribute online to BACM. Donations can also be made by sending a check to BACM, 701 31st St NW Bemidji, MN. Thank you to all who have donated to support the programs of scholarships for freshman college students in music study, Fellowships for BSU students to serve in Bemidji churches, and scholarships for young organ students.
