The 33rd season of the Summer Recital Series presented by the Bemidji Area Church Musicians will continue on Wednesday, July 1, 12:00 noon as a “virtual recital.”
In this time of shut-down and caution for large gatherings, the 2020 series is being videoed and presented on Face Book and You Tube each Wednesday noon.In addition, Lakeland Public Television will broadcast our summer recital series, beginning on July 4.
The recitals will be aired by LPTVon Saturdays at 4:30 (right before Lawrence Welk) and again on Sundays at 10 am.
The St Mark’s players include John Kirk, a youthful trombone player, accompanied by Erin Riess, John Konecne, saxophone, accompanied by Julie Bengtson, and floutists, Erin Riess, Elizabeth Rave, Katrina Stewart, and Kiki Schnackenberg.
The public is encouraged to access this fine recital by going to the BACM Facebook page: BACMusicians or YouTube channel: BemidjiACM. People in the community are invited to donate to the programs managed by BACM.
Both locations will have a way to contribute on line to BACM. Donations can also be made by sending a check to BACM, 701 31st St NW, Bemidji, MN. Thank you for supporting the programs of scholarships for freshman college students in music study, Fellowships for BSU students to serve in Bemidji churches, and scholarships for young organ students.
