Children aged 6-13 are invited to the Bemidji State University cheerleading clinic.
Students will learn popular cheers, changes, jumps, leaps, choreographed pom pom/dance routines, parade marching techniques and other skills involved in performances, competitions and school cheerleading team tryouts.
The program also promoted improved coordination and physical fitness, personal esteem and working as a cooperative team.
Ten participants per age group, with participants able to cheer alongside BSU cheerleaders for the Sept. 1 home football game.

Dates are June 24 and 25.
For ages 6-9, the group will meet from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and ages 10-13 will meet from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost is $50 per participant and clinic will be held at the Historic Carnegie Library.parks
