Headwaters Music & Arts announces the commencement of their afterschool youth pottery program. Held weekly, 4-5:30pm on either Monday or Friday, October-May, the pottery program is an introduction to clay skills for youth in grades 2-12. Facilitated by Bemidji potter and artist Tom Daly, all skill levels can take part. Tom provides supervision and instruction, teaching clay techniques through various projects. Students will practice using coil, slab, and pinch methods, learn paint and glaze techniques, and receive an introduction to wheel throwing.
The cost to attend is $600/student for the year. Registration fees can be paid all at once or in monthly installments. Our monthly installment plan allows participants to sign up for automatic billing to pay your program fee off in 5 months, billed the first of each month.
