Kitchi Boogie is a five-piece roots-rock-funk jam band hailing from Northern Minnesota, proud to announce the release of their latest album – “Airconditioned Fish House”.
They will be hosting a CD release party for Airconditioned Fish House at the Rail River Folk School in downtown Bemidji on Saturday, October 1st, 2022. Doors open at 6 PM, the show starts at 7. It’s an all-ages show with a bar for those 21+. There will be a free-will donation at the door. CDs and merch will be available for sale.
The current lineup includes original band members “Papa” Steve Ross on bass and Shane Corning on guitar/vocals/lead songwriter. Jason Dowell on guitar/vocals/songwriter, Doug Quance on drums/percussion/vocals and Mattea Elhard on keyboards/vocals round out the band.
Kitchi Boogie plays the local bar scene & events. They have been featured on Lakeland PBS’ “Backroads” series and Bemidji State University’s “Live at BSU”
