Monarch Festival Month

September 12, 2020

Celebrate the Mayor’s Monarch Pledge with a variety of family fun activities. There will be activities running all month long celebrating Monarchs. All of the activities kick off on Saturday, September 12. Check out Bemidji Parks and Recreation Facebook Page to see a complete listing of events. Pollinator Chalk Festival

Celebrate monarchs and pollinator through your chalk drawing artwork. Each registration will include a reserved spot in on the ground for you to create your artwork and a bucket of chalk. One registration covers the whole family.

Cost: $5.00 (+tax)

Celebrate the Monarch Festival at home. Each celebration box will include:

Pollinator Scavenger Hunt & Garden Tour
Learn about Minnesota Butterflies on this fun scavenger hunt. Butterflies will be hidden along the trail at North Country Park. With this scavenger hunt you will also receive a link to a map of local pollinator gardens as well as an informational pamphlet about butterflies.
