Bemidji Parks and Rec is introducing Summer Day Camp in a box. Fun activities, crafts and games all packed into a weekly themed box. Boxes will be delivered to you weekly. Just sign up for the weeks you would like boxes or sign up for a whole summer of fun!! The camp boxes are geared towards campers ages 6-12.
Your box will include:
5 snack recipes
Journals
5- 7 crafts
Family conversation starters
5 outdoor adventures
2 themed book ideas
Small group games
5 exercise ideas/videos/games
1 kindness or service project
Write to another camper project
There are enough for supplies for 2 campers per box. Supplies for the crafts will be in the boxes. You will need to provide some basic supplies like markers, glue, paint and crayons. You will have an option of purchasing a supply start-up kit. These kits are optional but will include: markers, crayons, glue sticks, glue bottle, scissors, hole punch and a playground ball. Your first box will include a Rec on the Go t-shirt.
Boxes will be delivered by Rec Staff within 5 miles of City Hall at no extra charge. Additional fees for mailing boxes to those who live outside the 5 mile zone.
