Sanford Bemidji will host free informational sessions for children’s reconstructive surgeries next week.
Sanford Bemidji Children’s Clinic, in a partnership with San Diego nonprofit Fresh Start Surgical Gifts, will provide two sessions on Oct. 12.
These surgeries are offered at no cost to families of children who are underinsured or unable to afford their deductible or copay.
Children with physical malformations or deformities caused by birth defects, accidents, abuse or disease should consider attending.
The screening sessions from 9:30 to 11 and from 2 to 4:30 are just for informational purposes and general medical care will not be offered.
