Shipwrecks of the Great Lakes

Did you know that Lake Superior is home to at least five hundred and fifty shipwrecks, with over one hundred lying in Minnesota waters?  Join the Bemidji Public Library, Saturday, October 29th at 3:00 p.m. as we learn about the wrecks of the Bradley, Morrell, and Cederville, as well as the most well-known wreck in Superior, the Edmund Fitzgerald, with Dick Roue, former editor of The Thirteen Towns newspaper.  Join us at the library for this free presentation at 3 p.m., October 29, 2022, at 509 America, Bemidji.

Dick Roue, of Fosston, is a retired newspaper editor, police officer, and deputy sheriff from Polk County.  A life-long learner, storyteller, and bibliophile, Dick Roue has been telling stories and sharing history throughout northern Minnesota for over fifty years.  Join us Saturday, October, 29 at 3 p.m. for this informative look at the exciting maritime history of Minnesota.
