Great River Rescue is pleased to announce spay/neuter clinic dates for 2020. Each clinic will be held at Great River Rescue. Qualified low-income individuals must register each pet in need of services through an online registration page which can be accessed at www.petfixer.org. Clients must also submit a $20 non-refundable deposit which will be counted toward final clinic costs. The Petfixers website contains income qualifications, program guidelines, and services offered with prices.
Upcoming dates for the 2020 clinics are: August 1 -2, September 12-13, October 3-4, November 7-8.
Space is limited for each clinic. Once registered, clients will be contacted by a Great River Rescue Staff or Volunteer to confirm their spot. In addition to spay/neuter services, other service offerings include distemper combo vaccinations, Rabies vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, and blood tests.
Volunteers for the clinics are needed which helps keep costs to the public low. Volunteers will serve through a variety of tasks such as setting up, checking-in clients, cleaning medical instruments, and more.
