There are three grade-appropriate camps: “Outdoorsy Art” for kids entering grades 1-3; “Mixed Media Madness for grades 4 – 6; and “Art Exploratory”, an individualized experience for grades 7 – 12. All campers will get an opportunity to work with different mediums. For kids in grades 1-6, the camps are week-long (5 days) half-day sessions and include a camper art exhibit and project pick-up on day 5. The grade 7-12 camp is five 2½ hour afternoon sessions. The cost for member children is $120 and $150 for non-member children. Register and pay online. Watermark’s Art Education Program Director Jill Neumann will be the lead instructor for all the camps. Neumann has taught art for more than 20 years. Her experience includes the Rochester Art Center, Crossings in Zumbrota, St. Cloud Public Schools, Theo Art School in Bismarck, Bismarck Public Schools, and Bemidji Public Schools. She will also have two artist assistants, as well as guest artists and speakers.
