“Women of Bollywood” honors lecture

Permits are available for the firearms deer Youth Hunt at Lake Bemidji State Park. The hunt is open to youth ages 12 to 15 and limited to 20 participants. Hunt dates are October 16-18. Each youth hunter must have completed the Firearms Safety Certificate and possess a valid deer license. An adult mentor must accompany the youth at all times and may not carry a firearm. Farmers to families food boxes will be available for pickup from 9 AM – 12 PM on Friday, October 16, 2020 (or until boxes run out) at the Sanford Center, 1111 Event Center Dr, Bemidji, MN 56601. Boxes are a combination of produce, protein, and dairy weighing approximately 35 lb available for drive-thru pick-up in the parking lot. Bemidji Women’s March in Place

This year marks the centennial anniversary of women’s suffrage, but many of the rights granted in the 19th amendment did not apply to all women, especially women of color, until decades later. Chinook Winds Quartet

Hackensack American Legion Auxiliary Unit 202 will serve breakfast from 8:30am-11:30am Sunday,  October 18 at the Club.  Menu includes choice of Pancakes, bacon and eggs OR Biscuits and gravy with eggs.  Both include juice and coffee for $7.00.  The proceeds go to support youth scholarships.  Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
