First rail corridor discussion of the new council

The Bemidji City Council is scheduled to review the land leases within the rail corridor during their work session Monday.

In all cases, leaseholders own their buildings but lease the city-owned land. Two leaseholders do not plan to renew their leases.

The Sanford Health Wellness Center discussion will also come back to the forefront, with a $10 million investment from Sanford, and a concept to turn the rail corridor into mixed use residential development, with some retail as well as the Wellness Center.

The meeting Monday will start at 5:30 p.m. with the conference app WebEx.
