Four charged after two busts in Cass County

Four people face drug charges in connection with a pair of methamphetamine investigations near Pine River.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says a search on December 29th led to a large amount of meth, drug paraphernalia, ammunition – and the arrests of 58-year-old Walter Hill and 61-year-old Teresa Hill.

An investigation last Thursday resulted in the seizure of meth and marijuana. Deputies say 43-year-old Theresa Mead and 49-year-old William Smetana are suspected of dealing a large amount of meth in the area.

The Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force assisted with the investigation.
