The Bemidji Senior Center will soon take appointments for free tax preparation assistance.
According to a release, anyone over the age of 50 or those with a low to moderate income can make an appointment at 751-8836.
The free service is sponsored by the Senior Center, the AARP Foundation, the IRS, and the Minnesota Department of Revenue.
Appointments will be available Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting Feb. 7 through April 15.
Clients will need to bring identification and tax documentation.
