A 57-year-old Grand Rapids man was charged with first degree controlled substance sales in Itasca County yesterday.
According to a release, 57-year-old Larry Zempel resided at a property where, after a search warrant, more than seven ounces of methamphetamine and over $20,000 in cash were found, which was seized by the Itasca County Sheriff’s Office.
Unconditional bail was set at $200,000, and Zempel will make his next court appearance next week.
