Grand Rapids man killed in alcohol-related crash in Cass County

A Grand Rapids man was killed in an alcohol-related crash near Pine River Sunday.

According to the state patrol, 29-year-old Vincent Kordiak was driving a Chevy Malibu on 44th Ave. SW in Cass County when he left the roadway around 1:30 a.m.

Kordiak then struck a driveway and rolled multiple times, while not wearing a seatbelt.

He is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Backus Fire also assisted at the scene.
