Hackensack brewery grand opening Saturday

Rendezvous Brewing in Hackensack will holds its Grand Opening this Saturday.

According to a release, the brewery opened June 27th for takeout only, and the taproom has been open since July 3rd for socially distanced seating.

“We started out with soft openings to allow for us to build up our supply and selection of beers,” said the Head Brewer, Doug Toth, co-owner with his wife, Sue.

“You don’t want to runout of beer with a customer at the counter!”

Owner Sue Toth’s grandfather, Pat Harrington, operated the original Rendezvous Restaurant in the 50s, where the Birchwood Char House is today.

Grand opening hours will be from noon to 8 p.m., and the brewery is located near the Paul Bunyan Trail and the Lucette statue on South First street.

More information on Rendezvous Brewing can be found on their Facebook page or on their website.
