Hackensack man killed in Friday crash

A 48-year-old Hackensack man was killed in a crash Friday.

The state patrol reports Scott Voudren was southbound on Highway 371 at Woodland Drive when he crossed the centerline, coming into contact with a Honda CRV.

The CRV driver, 60-year-old Diane Illies of Solway, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Voudren was pronounced dead at the scene around 9:21 that night.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash, and all parties were wearing their seat belts.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Hackensack Rescue, and North Ambulance assisted at the scene.
