Heifer killed and butchered on farmer’s property in Clearwater County, officials ask suspicious activity be reported

The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office says to be aware of suspicious activity.

According to an announcement, a heifer appeared to have been skinned and butchered by someone in the farmer’s pasture on Tuesday.

The pasture is near County Road 7 and 290th Street.

The statement said the heifer appeared to have been shot.

Information about this incident or other suspicious activity can be reported to the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office at 218-694-6226.
