HIBBING- A Hibbing man was arraigned on a first-degree murder charge Thursday in a Christmas Day 2018 shooting.
Thirty-year-old Jerome Spann was indicted by a grand jury last month in the killing of 34-year-old Jeryel McBeth. The complaint says McBeth was outside with friends when Spann got out of an S-U-V with a handgun and shot him three times.
He continued shooting and also hit Jamien Stukey. Spann fled Hibbing and was arrested at a relative’s in St. Paul. He will remain jailed on 500-thousand dollars bail until a November 7th hearing.
