The Covid-19 pandemic is unlike anything we’ve dealt with before. It has turned our world upside down. And it’s weighing on people. Loneliness, fear, confusion, worry, stress, anxiety are the side effects of a life of staying at home, social distancing, and economic strain. It’s a challenge everyone is facing at some level. So how do we keep it all in perspective? How do we keep emotions in check instead of overwhelming us? Kev Jackson talked with Sanford Health’s Ashlea McMartin, a licensed clinical counselor and head of Sanford’s community based mental health services, about maintaining good mental health in a trying time.
