Hubbard County man seriously injured in dirt bike crash

A 22-year-old Hubbard County man was seriously injured in a dirt bike crash earlier this week.

The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office says they received the call Monday evening around 7:15 p.m. at a residence in Arago Township.

Dylan Hensel was found with a severe head injury.

The investigation indicates Hensel was driving a mini-bike in his yard when he crashed into a tree.

Hensel was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids but was later airlifted to Sanford Fargo by North Memorial.

The crash is still under investigation.

Hensel was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
