Crews with the city of Bemidji will begin flushing water mains this morning and continue until about the end of May.
Hydrants will be flushed in a north to south pattern while proceeding south through the city and will end with flushing in the Nymore area.
Water may become discolored during this process. Residents can run their cold water until it is clear again. Water pressure may also be low during this time.
