A Laporte man is facing twelve gross misdemeanor counts of tax evasion for failing to file for six years.
According to court records, 65-year-old Fredrick Otto Jobe allegedly did not pay taxes from 2016 through 2021 on nearly a million dollars of income.
Investigators determined Jobe owed nearly $44,000 in state income taxes.
Jobe made an initial court appearance last week and has another appearance scheduled in January.
