Laporte woman injured in crash

A Laporte woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the Highways 64 and 200 intersection Friday afternoon.

The state patrol says 19-year-old Kassidy Dudley of Bemidji was northbound on Highway 64 when she entered the intersection and was struck by an oncoming Toyota on Highway 200.

Both drivers were not injured but the Toyota passenger, 20-year-old Jovanna Halvorson of Laporte, was transported by ambulance to Sanford Bemidji for non-life-threatening injuries.

The air bags did not deploy in the Chevy but did in the Toyota.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash and all were wearing their seat belts.
