BEMIDJI– The Bemidji Police Department has issued a notification of release for a risk level three sex offender.
According to the fact sheet, 33-year-old Michael Warren Smith will move to the 600 block of 4th Street Northwest Monday.
Smith is described as a 5 foot 11 inch American Indian man with a fair complexion and a large build.
Smith has a history of engaging in sexual contact and conduct with known male and female children.
Smith has served the sentence imposed on him by the court, and use of this information to harass or intimidate him is illegal.
