Local government hours for MLK, Jr., weekend, brush burn at demo landfill next week

The City of Bemidji’s offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 17, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr., Day.

City refuse customers who normally have their trash picked up on Mondays will have their garbage collected on Tuesday, Jan. 18, instead.

All Beltrami County’s Solid Waste facilities will be closed Saturday, Jan. 15, in observance of the holiday.

Beltrami County will begin a brush burn at the Demolition Landfill at some point next week. Residents are advised to avoid bringing brush debris during the burn. More information on the burn will come next week.
