A Naytahwaush man is facing first degree drug possession charges after a bust earlier this month.
According to the criminal complaint, 38-year-old Augustus Light was found within an arms reach of over 68 grams of methamphetamine and 10 grams of heroin after the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force initiated a search warrant in Nymore Dec. 7.

Light was on federal probation for illegal possession of a firearm and the Task Force found two handguns, believed to be Light’s, during the bust.
During a search of Light’s Naytahwaush home, law enforcement found several thousand dollars in U.S. currency, suspected drugs and ammunition that matched the caliber for the firearms seized in Nymore.
