Only one challenger has filed for the District 4 Commissioner seat, currently held by Tim Sumner. This race will go on to the general this November, as there are only two candidates.
TIM SUMNER
Tim Sumner has represented District 4 for the past eight years, and says his passion for representing District 4 is the same as it has been since his first day. Sumner is continuing a fairly long tradition of Red Lake Nation band members serving on the Beltrami County Board of Commissioners. Sumner says he would like to continue doing the work for all residents of the district.
DANNY ANDERSON
Danny Anderson lives in Kelliher, and this is his first political campaign. Anderson owns and operates an auto repair shop, and says he is running to ensure all residents of District 4 are represented.
