Minnesota Fall Color Finder launches for the season

The Minnesota Fall Color updates begin today.

The updates are made possible by staff at Minnesota’s 75 state parks and recreation areas, who submit the fall color progress reports for the online tool.

The wave of peak fall color typically washes across Minnesota in mid-September along the Canadian border to mid-October along the Iowa border.

Residents and visitors can sign up for a weekly e-newsletter from the DNR with fall color updates, including recent photos submitted by park staff and visitors.
