Moorhead man killed in motorcycle crash

A Moorhead man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night in Becker County.

According to a release from Sheriff Todd Glander, deputies responded to the scene northeast of Lake Park around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22.

The driver, identified as 45-year-old Eric Jeffrey Leroux of Moorhead, was found unresponsive. Life saving measures were unsuccessful and Leroux was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 911  call reported a motorcycle accident on Co. Highway 9 near Labelle Lake.

The Lake Park Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, Lake Park Rescue, Audubon Rescue and St. Mary’s Ambulance assisted at the scene. Sanford Air Care was called but canceled prior to their arrival.
