More than 1,200 receive degrees after commencement weekend

More than 1,200 graduates were celebrated during this year’s commencement ceremonies at Bemidji State University and Northwest Technical College over the weekend.

Of the 1,013 BSU graduates, 67 received master’s degrees, 946 earned their undergrads, with 440 graduating with honors.

The cohort also included 63 American Indian graduates, 29 military personnel and veterans, and at least 14 international students.

Of the 201 in NTC’s graduating class, 93 received their associate of science, 41 their associate of applied science, with 50 diplomas and 37 certificates awarded.
