Motley man critically injured in crash with semi

A Motley man was seriously injured in an alcohol-related crash in Cass County Thursday morning.

Thirty-nine-year-old Jeremiah Pikkaraine was eastbound on Highway 210 when he crossed the centerline and collided with a westbound semi.

Pikkaraine was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The state patrol reports Pikkaraine was under the influence of alcohol at the time of a crash.

The semi driver, a 52-year-old Oakdale man, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Pillager Fire Department, and North Memorial assisted at the scene.
