Motorcyclist, passenger injured in Clearwater County

A Glenwood motorcyclist and his passenger were injured in a motorcycle crash in Clearwater County Saturday morning.

According to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol, 53-year-old Robert Cockrell was westbound on Highway 200 on a Yamaha Motorcycle when he missed his turn and overturned the bike when braking.

Cockrell and his passenger, 45-year-old Karen Cockrell of Glenwood, were treated for their non-life threatening injuries at Sanford Bagley.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, and neither were wearing helmets.

The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office and the White Earth Tribal Police Department assisted at the scene.
