National Night Out tomorrow

National Night Out is tomorrow, with the Boys and Girls Club of the Bemidji Area hosting, in partnership with the Bemidji Police Department.

“America’s Night Out Against Crime,” according to a release, is an effort to build police-community partnerships and neighborhoods, as well as to prevent crime.

The event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at the J.W. Smith Elementary field and will include refreshments, vendor booths and activities.

Area organizations and businesses will be on hand with informational booths, and free dinner will be available, while supplies last.
