Neveah Kingbird still missing nearly a year after disappearance

Nearly an entire year has passed since then-15-year-old Neveah Kingbird disappeared in Bemidji.

According to an update from Bemidji Police Captain David LaZella, Neveah’s family, friends and the BPD continue to search and follow leads in her disappearance.

With the fall season upon us and with the upcoming deer hunting season approaching, the Bemidji Police Department reminds everyone to remain watchful and vigilant while outdoors and to report any suspicious activity or property immediately.

When Neveah was last seen on Oct. 22, 2021, she may have been wearing either a black zip-up hoody or a red sweatshirt with a bull logo on it, blue skinny jeans, a white undershirt, and black and red Nike slide sandals.

Anyone with information can contact the Police Department directly or report anonymously to CrimeStoppers of Minnesota.
