New Hope man injured in crash near Grygla

A 39-year-old New Hope man was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a Sanford Hospital following a crash near Grygla Friday afternoon.

According to a report from the state patrol, 22-year-old Michael Jelen of Grygla was northbound on Dylan Rd. NW in a Dodge pickup when he failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 89.

The Dodge struck the Ford station wagon, driven by 39-year-old Andrew Hoops of New Hope. The Ford rolled onto its side in the ditch.

Jelen was not injured, and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
