BEMIDJI- The Bemidji City Council and the ISD 31’s School District Board are scheduled to meet this week. The city council’s work session is scheduled for Monday at 5:30 PM, and the school board is scheduled to meet on Tuesday at 7:30 AM.
The city council will be discussing the 2020 budget, the 2020 tax proposal, and the work session will be followed by a closed session to discuss the allegations against Bemidji City Manager Nate Matthews, which was tabled from last week’s meeting.
The School Board will be discussing special education services, but the main topic up for discussion is the appointment of an acting superintendent. Tim Lutz received non-life threatening injuries in an ATV crash at the end of last month. He is expected to return as soon as he is able.
